I will be 27 in a month

But there’s still so much I have not done

As 30 draws near

I feel so behind my peers

My younger self had high expectations of me

Right now, I just want to be happy

The cost of living is rising, I will never get ahead

So I will just go at my own pace instead

Meeting the expectations of society

Is not my priority

I will be 27 soon

So I will do what I can do
