Steel and Glass

My mom’s mind is like steel 

But her body is like glass

Her mind is so strong that she doesn’t kneel

To the physical pain that won’t stay in the past

Even with a glass body

She still emotionally supports our family

Her soul is what I want to embody

One day her body will recover, hopefully

Her mind is strong

We have a close bond

Her circumstances don’t keep her down

She makes life better for everyone around

She brings joy into my life

And solves family fights

She works hard so I can soar

She is someone I truly adore

Her mind is steel and her body is glass

My love for her will always last

She is the bomb
