When God Says No

What do you do when God says no?

Do you let the issue go

Or does it slowly eat you away inside?

There’s no point in trying to hide

Your Frustration, your rage

It’s really hard to stay sane

Do you think he has something better planned?

I simply cannot understand

Why the answer is no

I’ll ask him when I get home

The bible says ask and you shall receive 

So when God says no it’s hard to believe 

This pain will be a thorn in my side

It’s hard to pay the internal anger no mind

If I keep asking will he change his decision

Or will acceptance be my mission

It’s really hard to move on 

When you have been praying for so long

God says to trust him

But it’s hard to do when things look dim

I know I shouldn’t feel this way

God will give me better days

He says this will be apart of my story

And I can use it to show his glory

I want God to be my cornerstone

But what should I do when God says no?
