Overwhelmed by the Election

I have felt overwhelmed by the last few presidential elections. There are only two options and voting third parties does not make much of a difference, so one would think that the election would not be overwhelming but that would be wrong. Both parties are pushing far into  opposite directions that the middle ground often gets overlooked. There have been elections where I did not like either candidate, I was stuck between picking the lesser of two evils. It felt like picking either pistachio or dog poop flavor ice cream,  I don't like them both but there is one that is far worse. 

I feel like I am being bombarded by political ads and news stories. There is no need for every other news article or ad to be about Trump or Harris.  So much fake news is going around about the candidates that I cannot even keep my head straight. All I ask is just a basic summary of each candidate's platform, not bits and pieces here and there, nothing else. I am tired of everyone pushing their opinion on me. Obsessing over political candidates is just unnecessary. The obsession especially over Donald Trump kind of makes me want to vomit. Well, at least the presidential election only happens every four years.
