In this new and bold political and mystery slasher, a New England small town is shaken up by a series of murders leading up to a heated mayoral election. The townspeople must find the killer before the fear spreads everywhere.
I was lucky enough to see this movie early because Regal Cinema showed it on Mystery Movie Monday, where tickets are five dollars but none of the moviegoers know what the movie is.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. It was really entertaining and kept me engaged the entire time. I liked how the movie did not sugarcoat politics. One of the themes of the movie is that no matter who is in public office, no one with that job seems to care enough about our society to make positive changes. I find that this theme does relate to the current United States elected officials because they do not seem to care about making a positive change. Some of the violence is a bit over the top but, I think that it makes the movie more bearable to watch because it does not feel realistic. The characters don't have a lot of depth to them and their motivations seem very basic. I liked how even the minor characters contributed to the plot. I loved how the killer is someone who the audience least suspects. It was good that the killer got what they deserved in the end but, I did not like that the accomplices got away with their crimes.
